Khabar Dari Bumi Syria

"Kerana kelalaian kita, kita telah kehilangan Palestine dan Iraq, dan kini kita hampir kehilangan Syria. Fikirkanlah, kita tidak akan dapat membebaskan bumi Palestine selagi kita tidak dapat selamatkan segenap inci bumi Syria."

Syeikh Samir Sakha's words which was translated by Ustaz Nazmi Karim.

Syeikh Samir Sakha is a Khateeb from a small city of Lazaqiah, Syria. He was with us last night to update us on the recent violence and killing of civilians in Syria which has shocked the whole world in 'Ceramah Perdana & Solat Hajat - Khabar Dari Bumi Syria', an event organized by Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor (JAIS) in collaboration with Kelab Pembangunan Insan & Human Resources Club UNISEL. The recent event was the most brutal I guess, whereby almost 106 children and adults were slaughtered mercilessly in a small village called Haula 3 weeks ago. It just tear my heart open to watch the videos of the innocent civilians being killed and tortured, really. Oh my, I just don't understand how could some people become so cruel and heartless T__T

A glimpse at the uprising in Syria, the chaos started last year on 15 March, when a group of parents who protested when the security forces jailed and tortured their children who dared to write "people want this regime to fall" on their school bulding's wall. Soon after that, the Syrian people started to demonstrate in different cities and villages demanding for the equality of rights, freedom and a secure life. Since then they have been living in a war fighting for their rights, houses and mosques was demolished and destroyed, the old people and children was brutally tortured and killed, the women was arrested, raped and burnt till they cannot be identified and not just that, all the muslims prisoners was forced and threatened to confess and utter the word that Bashar Assad (laknatuallah 'Alaih) is the one and only worshipped idol (God).

Allahuakbar, I can't even imagine the pain and extreme hardship the Syrians people are going through right now. I even feel ashamed of myself for not being able to do anything. At this moment, I am writing this post in a peaceful country whereas there's somewhere out there my muslim brothers and sisters was being killed with no mercy. Oh Ya Allah, Ya Allah, give victory for this religion. They are in need of our prayers from this brutal dictatorship, people. Let's pray for them every time in the solat (namely Qunut Nazilah) so that Allah gives them victory over the regime Bashar Assad and his army, InsyaAllah.

One of the most beautiful Qasida I've ever heard of.

this guy was shot 8 times
Boy lost both his hands and one-eye blinded in an explosion. But all the words that came out from his mouth is Alhamdulilah because he still alive, he still have both legs to walk and an eye to see. He added "With this eye, I pray to Allah to give me the chance to see the victory of Syria one day, InsyaAllah"

Allahuakbar, Allahuakbar, Allahuakbar

1) When the victory of Allah has come and the conquest
2) And you see the people entering into the religion of Allah in crowds
3) So glorify the Praises of your Lord and ask forgiveness of Him. Indeed, He is ever accepting of repentance.
